Adjectives

Adjectives in Royvaldian are massively simplified from Old English. They have only agreement for number and gender in the noun they describe.

Example: sloa - slow

Singular Plural
Masculine sloae /slɔ.ə/ sloaen /slɔn/
Feminine sloa /slɔ/ sloaen /slɔn/

That is meen sloae freiand.
That's my slow friend.
DEM.SG be.PRES.SG 1.SG.POSS slow-M friend

That is his sloa sveiasster.
That's his slow sister.
DEM.SG be.PRES.SG 3.M.SG.POSS slow.F sister

Thoas bee meen sloaen kat.
These are my slow cats.
DEM.PL be.PRES.PL 1.SG.POSS slow-PL cat

All adjectives receive these endings with the exceptive of possessive nouns and pronouns acting as adjectives. For the latter see meen in the previous sentences.

Yi tok meen cosinis hond.
I took my cousin's dog.
1.SG.NOM take.PAST 1.SG.POSS cousin.SG.POSS dog
