Hello! This is my personal website, I go by several names but here I will just go by Rigestis. This site is a place for me to primarily showcase and collect information about my constructed languages. I have been conlanging for nearly eleven years mostly since I was a kid, none of those conlangs survive because they were very bad.
My conlangs which currently exist are all experiments and teaching tools for myself and thus are not in my opinion the best examples of conlangs but they are at a standard that I can look at with pride and enough appreciation to show off to others. Some information about myself, I am a university student as of right now, linguistics is not my field of study this is just a hobby. Other hobbies of mine include gardening, hiking, and reading (love history, language, philosophy, and fiction).
In terms of language, the primary language families I enjoy learning about are Indo-European, Algonquin, and Na-Dené. Other various languages I particularly enjoy learning about are also Japanese, Korean, Nahuatl, Sumarian, and Basque. I have various degrees of knowledge in these subjects and as of right now I am only interested in creating Indo-European languages at this time, I primarily work on Germanic languages. I have worked on some languages in the past that at this point have been abandoned and incomplete like a modern Punic descendant written in the Arabic script, A North Germanic language spoken in the Balkans written in the Greek script and a few others.
